INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2009-10. TEA is preparing the new redesigned EMAT system for school year 2009-10 requisitions, and there are several significant events concerning closing the Legacy EMAT system for school year 2008-09 and opening the new redesigned EMAT system for school year 2009-10 which follow:

• The last day the Legacy EMAT system will accept requisitions for school year 2008-09 is April 2, 2009.  School districts and charter schools should order any materials needed for the 2008-09 school year or for summer school before April 2.  The system will not allow schools to place any requisitions for the current school year after April 2.  If a district experiences a natural disaster or emergency, please contact the Instructional Materials and Educational Technology Division at (512) 463-9601.
• The Legacy EMAT system will be closed for the period, Friday, April 3, 2009, through Sunday, April 19, 2009.
• School districts and charter schools may begin submitting requisitions in the new redesigned EMAT system for school year 2009-10 on Monday, April 20, 2009.
